Lyall Armstrong is the founding elder of Cedars Church and its lead teaching elder.  He is a Baptist minister and professor of History at the American University of Beirut.  He and his wife April have four children.

Joe Hokayem is an elder of Cedars Church and a business owner. He and his wife Margo have been at Cedars since 2010 and have three adult children.
